Health Carousel wins multiple awards in the 13th Annual 2020 Women in Business and the Professions World Awards®

Health Carousel announced today that Women World Awards has named three interdisciplinary teams at Health Carousel as winners in the 13th Annual 2020 Women in Business and the Professions World Awards®.

GOLD WINNER – Team of the Year – During COVID-19

From the very beginning of safer-at-home, Marijke and her team spearheaded a COVID-19 Business Continuity Team for 450+ employees across five cities. At a time when healthcare facilities needed increased staff within days, they ensured all teams could effectively perform while staying safe, and with zero disruption to the essential services we provide. They were ready to respond with agility, leading through advanced planning, leadership alignment, consistent communication, and a transition to 100% digital collaboration.

This female-led project team played a key role in Health Carousel’s approval as a Certified Ethical Recruiter with the Alliance for Ethical International Healthcare Recruitment.  

The Alliance certification process includes a review of contract practices, discussions with references, and surveys and interviews of health professionals that have worked with Health Carousel to demonstrate the firm’s commitment to ethical, responsible, and transparent recruitment practices as defined by the Alliance’s Health Care Code for Ethical International Recruitment Practices. Earning the CGFNS Certification for Ethical International Recruitment and continuing to reaffirm and validate our commitment to ethical healthcare recruitment.

Our HR social impact and communications team was recognized with the gold award for leading social impact and engagement through a global pandemic. This team was able to creatively lead continued philanthropy and charitable giving to improve our communities by going digital. They embraced the digital universe and curated some high impact virtual experiences. They made it easier for our employees and community members, to give back when, where, and how they are able and passionate.
