Best Places to Work Dayton

We are proud to announce that our Dayton office, housing our Next Travel Nursing and Next Locum Tenens business lines, has been named as one of the Best Places to Work in Dayton by the Dayton Business Journal! This is the third year in a row that NEXT has been on the list of Best Places to Work. This win comes directly from externally-managed survey data from our Dayton employees. “I am so proud of our leadership team and the entire staff at NEXT in Dayton! Making NEXT a great place to work takes a village,” said our Health Carousel CEO Bill DeVille highlighting that our Dayton. Leaders from Cincinnati and Dayton gathered with Dayton employees on Friday, March 22nd to celebrate.

Next Medical Staffing has several new employee engagement and retention efforts underway. The company launched its Health Carousel University last year to provide employees more resources to develop their careers, as well as a Manager Essentials training program, said Johanna Krogh Senior Employee Engagement Specialist. Other employee engagement efforts included a Masquerade Gala to celebrate company milestones and recognize top performances; a peanut butter drive to donate 1,500 pounds to the Dayton PB&J Project; and a Summer Office Olympics event to help support local veterans.

Within the well-being program are activities such as blood drives, yoga and CPR classes; free concert tickets; back-offs; and a 401(k) match. Krogh said the company this year will increase its number of paid holidays, paid time off, and employees surveys to garner feedback.
