Health Carousel Hires Former Cincinnati Bell, P&G Executive

To accommodate the company's rapid growth, Health Carousel has hired former Cincinnati Bell and Proctor & Gamble executive Marijke Woodruff. Her hiring was announced at the beginning of April and has since made rounds among local media outlets. Both The Cincinnati Enquirer and The Cincinnati Business Courier have run features on Health Carousel's newest addition to its executive team. Marijke will serve as the VP of HR and Chief People Officer. Her addition to the HR team adds more horsepower and senior leadership, which will help Health Carousel reach its aggressive goals.

Most recently, as the corporate HR resources leader for Cincinnati Bell, Marijke was responsible for all core HR functions for the company and its affiliates. As a key member of the senior leadership team, she introduced a collaborative business partner model to HR and implemented an employee engagement strategy to significantly enhance employee satisfaction. Before that, Marijke built a successful career with Procter and Gamble, beginning with a series of strategic leadership roles in sales, sales management, operations and planning. Marijke served as business partner to two general managers in the $3 billion North American beauty sector, leading numerous initiatives that increased employee satisfaction 70 percent in one year.
